Hungary law requires photographers to ask permission to take pictures

The Guardian:

From 15 March, a new civil code outlaws taking pictures without the permission of everyone in the photograph.

This is an awful blow to photographers in Hungary.

One of the things I briefly touch on in my Tips and Tricks Class is your rights as a photographer (specific to North American shooters).

For the most part, we are allowed to take pictures of anything we can “easily” see when we are in public without needing the permission of the people in the shot.
